FOUND A LADY BUG....





STILL A LITTLE BIT TIRED....



WE WERE OUT AT A POND LAST NIGHT AND FOUND SOME TADPOLES. ANDREW CALLED UP HIS SCIENCE TEACHER TO SEE IF IT WOULD BE OK TO BRING THEM TO SCHOOL....THEN BROUGHT THEM HOME FOR THE KIDDOS TO HOLD.

Thursday!! Thursday!!

We were working on Paxtons birthday book this am. The kids have alot of fun doing this. I get out all my extra crafty "junk" and they go at it. I write on their paper "I like (Paxton) because" and they get to finish the sentence with whatever they want to say. Our first couple of times doing this they had a hard time thinking of something nice to say, but now they come up with all sorts of nice compliments. Its also a great activity because they are "forced" to make something nice for someone else.













HOMEWORK





FIRST I BAKED THESE ROCKS THEN WE COLORED ON THEM WITH CRAYONS-ASK YOUR KIDDOS ABOUT THEM THEY WERE PRETTY PROUD :)



OUR LAST MORNING ACTIVITY B4 LUNCH IS USUALLY STORY TIME. THE LOVE THIS AND WE USUALLY END UP HAVING SOME MEMORABLE TALKS. LOTS OF PERSONALITIES SITTING IN THIS SEMI CIRCLE.

Sparky, Firetrucks and Misc....

Seeing sparky and the firetrucks was AWESOME!! They had so much fun. If you see Miss. Donna, give her a shout-out for letting us join her class for this fun adventure. My camera was dead that day, so Miss. Donna is sending me a couple pictures of the firetrucks. Check back later to see the rest of them.

Right b4 our morning walk today-man I'm sure gonna miss this in the winter.



We got to stop at the gazebo at the library and have cupcakes for a snack-Thanks Jamie!!






On our walks they love finding new halloween decorations. At this particular house we tip-toe up close to it and run like lightning past it. So fun, just hope no one is ever watching. They might wonder............

Put stickers on pumpkins and painted. Tomorrow we will take off the stickers and see what happened.

At story time we read a story about a cow named Daisy that wanted a job helping the firefighters. Then we talked about what to do if your house ever catches on fire and how to crawl super, super low UNDER the smoke to get out safely.

BeRn PaRk

Ok, here we go. I'm gonna give it my best shot to update this 2-3 time a week, I do have another "family" blog that has superiority over this one, but we'll give it a shot.

It really doesn't get any better than this....a morning at the Bern park....lunch.... and 6 TIRED children ready for a siesta. I didn't even get pictures of the best part of the whole day. When we were loading up I told everyone that they were NOT allowed to sleep on the way home....soon they started to pretend like they were sleeping and I would open the van windows-(and if you remember how windy it was that day) the wind would come blowing in like crazy....lots and lots of giggles later we were back in Sabetha. It's these kind of laied back days that I feel like I've done my job the best. No schedule to follow, nothing to do but play at the park and eat lunch. In a society that hurries, hurries and hurries up to hurry some more-I think its important for our kiddos to JUST SLOW DOWN A BIT.





































One last thing, this is a sneak peak into a day at Ginas not a judgment on punctuation and spelling....enjoy the picts. Show these to your kids, this is one reason I'm doing this so they can tell you what fun we have. We really do have alot of fun-I'm so blessed to have great parents and kiddos to work with. No, every day is not sunshine, roses and ponies but all in all we DON'T have alot of rotten days.
